As the marketing industry’s leading organization dedicated to giving women the tools they need to succeed, we’re proud to introduce our newly established Executive Advisory Board, comprised of six of the marketing industry’s most successful, well-known, female executives. We plan to tap into this group for advice, direction, and expertise, which we’ll then share with our membership. This important new initiative was created to achieve several goals, chief among them:
Ensure AWNY remains an organization with its finger on the pulse of breaking industry news and trends
Define AWNY as an organization reflective of the communications/marketing/ advertising/media landscape of the 21st century
Strategize content and programming in preparation for our 100th Anniversary celebration in 2012
Capitalize on the opportunity for our organization to more effectively join the conversation in the social media space
Create lively dialogue between senior members of our industry that will help guide the development of signature AWNY programming and events
In short? To better serve all of you! With the advertising landscape changing so dramatically, and everyone so time-strapped, it makes sense to publicly connect some of our industry’s greatest leaders with the women who are hoping to follow in their footsteps. Social media forums are today’s greatest networking tools, and tapping into this group of C suite execs to provide content makes absolute sense.
As we approach our 100th anniversary we’ve committed ourselves to creating even greater innovation and collaboration. Our Executive Advisory Board will be a powerful tool in reaching that goal, and tapping in to the most senior female executives in our business with the click of a mouse to gain insight and advice. This expert insight will help our industry, our organization and the many young advertising executives we serve.
