The position reports to the New York based Vice President of Sales. Brand.net’s founding team has significant online Brand experience; both founders and seven of the first ten employees worked in Brand sales at Yahoo! for a combined 60+ years. Responsibilities
• Drive revenue generation from New York digital agencies and advertisers to achieve company revenue and profitability goals
- Execute and deliver on Brand.net’s sales goals
- Establish new and maintain existing relationships with decision makers, from senior most to direct buyer levels, with the top digital advertising agencies and advertisers, responsible for Top 200 US Brand accounts, including Starcom MediaVest, Mindshare, MEC, OMD, Digitas, Modem and their peer group, and corresponding clients
- Present the power of Brand.net’s innovative capabilities to build scaleable Brand value online to these customers
- Serve as a Brand.net (and online branding) evangelist to key industry players and influencers through industry groups, trade events, and socializing
- Prepare sales forecasts and sales reports as necessary and present to management
Qualifications
• A minimum of five years in media sales, with a minimum of three years in a Brand focused digital advertising sales position in the New York market.
• Strong proven selling relationships with the top digital advertising agencies and advertisers responsible for Top 200 US Brand accounts
• Strong conceptual and consultative sales skills and the ability to position the Brand.net value proposition against direct to publisher purchasing, 1st generation ad networks, and traditional advertising vehicles.
• Understanding online advertising technology advancements and their impact on the transformation of digital advertising
• Intellectual horsepower; strong presentation (written and oral) skills; ability to operate independently with minimal oversight; sense of humor and enjoyment of entrepreneurial environment. Start up experience beneficial, but not required
• Travel as required
• BS or BA required
