MEDIA
PLANNER
T3
T3 is seeking a Media Planner for its New York office
who will be responsible for creation and maintenance of media plans. The
Media Planner will also supervise the Assistant Media Planner with the
generation of tracking reports and evaluations
Key
responsibilities include:

Execution of media campaigns

Evaluate media properties, recommend efficient opportunities and positioning

Manage "make-good" activity and free opportunities
-
Manage the optimization of media plans
-
Develop and present tracking reports and analysis
-
Maintain and organize all media paperwork and documents
-
Generate Point of View documents
-
Attend weekly status meetings as well as inter-departmental meetings
for various client projects
-
Build professional relationships with the media community
-
Aggressively keep abreast of the current media landscape
-
Create media plan flowcharts and media buy authorizations
-
Maintain media budget documents
-
Assist with the training of Assistant Media Planner
-
Help develop media plans specifically investigating sites, special opportunities
and positions
-
Share new and relevant advertising opportunities in written and verbal
form to the media department
Required
Experience:
The
ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of print and/or online
media. A proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. The candidate
should have a strong attention to detail and comprehensive follow through,
possess above average math skills, and have an eagerness to learn and
succeed. A minimum of 2 years in online and/or print media planning is
required.
Required Education:
A bachelors degree is required. A college degree in Marketing or Advertising
is preferred.
