EXECUTIVE MEDIA DIRECTOR
T3
The
Executive Media Director will lead T3’s national
media operations that include both the New York and San Francisco offices.
The EMD will report directly to the COO and work closely with a team of
VP, group and associate media directors. This individual will be part
of the senior management team and will be responsible for enhancing and
developing T3’s media strategies in conjunction with other members
of senior management. The EMD will be ultimately responsible for media
strategy, profitability and best practices across the agency. The EMD
and senior media staff will be heavily involved in new business acquisition.
Responsibilities
include:

Positive leadership and motivation of team

Leading media objective and strategy development
-
Presenting innovative, business-building media recommendation
-
Going beyond a media focus to develop programs that encompass all client
business goals

Perform forecasting of revenue and sales based on historical data and
market trends
-
Contributing to agency revenue growth through existing account opportunitie
-
Reviewing accounts to ensure that they are operating profitably and
efficiently
-
Development of media department and education of overall agency staff
from a media perspective
Required
Experience:
Must
possess excellent management, analytical, multi-tasking and decision-making
abilities, as well as a seasoned knowledge of all media disciplines
.
In addition, ideal candidate must have:
-
12+ years media planning experience w/ a strong emphasis on digital/online
media
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Exceptional strategic leadership abilities
-
A significant amount of client contact experience
-
Traditional media background is a plus
Experience
with emerging media including social networks, blogs, mobile, gaming,
RSS, user generated content, etc. is preferred.
Required
Education:
Bachelors
degree is required.
