AWNY committee co-chairs and board members were on hand to welcome AWNY’s newest members. Sixty-eight new members attended the Spring Kick Off breakfast held at Microsoft-MSN to learn about the AWNY committees and how to take best advantage of their membership. Enthusiastic new members heard about the various activities of each committee and took away the many benefits of serving on a committee and how AWNY can enhance their career and personal development.

Arlene Manos, AWNY President, addressed the members with inspirational words and Caroline McCurdy, AWNY Board Advisor, gave an introduction to AWNY outlining the different tools available to members and presented how the organization works as a whole.

This free, semi-annual event is hosted by the Membership Marketing Committee. It is open to new AWNY members only and serves as an orientation session to the organization.
